The portfolio site for Museum Studio has a satisfying transition between the rollover previews and the full project view.
These venetian designers have a cool utilitarian-feeling site. The page is split between their studio work, and their involvement in book fairs, exhibitions and talks.
There are so many permutations of the portfolio format, it can be pretty tricky to deliver something with a twist. The ever intimidating Jake Dow-Smith has delivered a cracking interpretation for typography and graphic design studio Atelier Dreibholz.
We're enjoying the in-your-face factor of this site, with its high-contrast colours and big, fat, juicy type. The menu is great, as is the navigation between projects through the thick frame sidebars.
The animated anteater logo plays well against the minimal layout and colour choices on this one-pager.
